Waveguide Components
These manually operated waveguide switches
provide a means of making alternate connections between two waveguide inputs and
two waveguide outputs. They are
available in either the standard DPDT (4 port) or SPDT (3 port) configuration. All flange surfaces are 90 degrees
apart.
The switches are made
of iridited aluminum with a precision machined rotor and stator assembly. The machined rotors contain
non-contacting choke sections for high isolation and are mounted in precision
ball bearings for smooth operation. All
units can be pressurized upon request. Alternate
flanges are available. See flange
section.
Important ordering information: A basic 4 port non-pressurized manual switch in WRD-650 waveguide is model number WRD650-78. To order a pressurized or 3 port switch specify: WRD650-78-P=SP, basic model number (WRD650-78), pressurized designation (-P), 3 port designation (-SP).
